All together everything is better.

Last week, our teacher told us to do a little story. She showed us a webpage called storybird. Here you can choose the images for the story, it's easy because when you choose one picture the page shows you the relative images. There are a lot of different pictures. Then you can choose what you want to write: a poem, a short story... You decide the design of the cover and...you can write!
I think that it's a funny experience and you can learn how to write a story.
Here's my story, hope you like it!

Camino de Santiago

From the 21st to the 25th of March I went to the Camino de Santiago with my friends and two teachers from the highschool. I decided to do it because I wanted to meet Santiago de Compostela, its cathedral and the Galician landscape too.
We only did about 70 kilometres because we went for five days and we hadn't got enough time. We did four stages:

  • From Palas de Rei to Melide.
  • From Melide to Arzúa.
  • From Arzúa to O Pedrouzo.
  • From O Pedrouzo to Monte do Gozo and to Santiago de Compostela.
The travel was fantastic! We ate a lot of delicious food like "raxo", squid and sandwiches...we needed energy because we did much exercise. I think that's funny to see us sleep at ten o'clock (it's very early!), we were really tired.
While we were walking, we talked, we sang... we laughed a lot. We have spent a very good time!!
The cathedral was lovely and enormous, the organ's melodies were incredible. When we saw the Botafumeiro I thaught that it could fall on us, it's wonderful! Santiago de Compostela was very beautiful, you can see its beauty in these pictures:

Saint Patrick's Day

Word cloud made with WordItOut

The 17th of March is Saint Patrick's Day. It's an Irish festival, but it's celebrated in EEUU too. There are parades, special food...and people dye rivers in green!!

Saint Patrick was kidnapped when he was sixteen and he was a slave. After he had travelled around Europe he escaped and he studied Religion. Then he returned to Ireland and there he used the shamerock to explain the Holy Trinity. There's a legend that says that Saint Patrick drove out snakes from Ireland because the snakes are a pagan symbol.
Some of Saint Patrick symbols are colour green, leprechauns, the shamerock...
